Interbike 2008: Bits and Pieces

September 24th, 2008 by Guitar Ted

Here are a few of the nice upgrade parts I saw for your rigs in the halls of Interbike today.

Cane Creek is offering their 110headsets in colors, one of which is purple!

Salsa Cycles is introducing a new stem soon. For now they are revealing that these new stems will be upgrades to what was previously offered and will be quite light. The stem shown featuring titanium fsteners is hoped to weigh in at 135 grams and is made from forged aluminum.

The Nuvinci hub, with its infinitely variable transmission, was on display and units were ready for show goers to try on a trainer. The big news here is that the hub now has a six year warranty and is recommended for off roading.

That’s it for Day One. Look for more Interbike coverage coming tomorrow from Arleigh and Guitar Ted
