Quinn - It works out perfect for my 29er monocog which came with rim brakes but is disc ready. I've got no interest in running discs and do have an interest in riding it fixed. I ordered a 16 last night which is the same size i run on the freewheel so I'm thinking i won't even have to adjust my brakes when flipping the wheel!

I know of quite a few people that drilled holes in Shimano DX cogs to do the same thing, of course, if you do this you can't run a rear disc.

Interesting idea, although I only really see this working with a rim brake bike and a 2nd disc hub wheel.
