According to a recent story published on Bicycle Retailer and Industry News website, the price of your next tire purchase is going to be higher due to the current rise in crude oil prices.

According to industry folks, you could be paying as much as 18% more for your next high end tire purchase. Tire prices are expected to spike soon. This isn’t just limited to tires though.

Expect the current trend in crude oil prices to affect your future bicycle upgrades in a big way, even if they are not made from rubber. Most everything we consume is tied to oil in some way or another.
