Oregon is known for being one of the leaders in the handmade bicycle scene. A sampling of bike builders include DeSalvo, Ira Ryan, Ahearne, & Jones. These builders are desired by many, there often backed up several months to years.

If you are in the Portland area November 11th do yourself a favor and ride (or drive if you have to) to the World Forestry Center where this event is being held.
