While Guitar Ted and I were browsing the SRAM booth he pointed out the thumb shifters they had mounted on one of the bikes. A stupid-simple shifting mechanism that only uses one lever. Push it a little bit to shift one way and a lot to go the other.

Don’t see it on their website yet but this system makes great sense to me. Can you imagine a better setup?
